'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham Given a Lift!

It's not usually the done thing to smile when you hear about others misfortune.

On this occasion though I'm going to make an exception especially considering the harsh start the fixture computer gave us.

Although Hull are newly promoted there's no arguing that they will provide formidable opposition on Saturday as we look to get off to a winning start.

We then face Arsenal in a fixture that we all accept will be a major test of Roy Hodgson's newly assembled side.

But we've been given a bit of a helping hand it would seem.

One of the stars of the Arsenal side, Cesc Fabregas, is likely to miss the fixture after picking up a hamstring injury in training.

Perhaps, after all, there is somebody up there who likes us!

I'm with Al Billy. Wenger has let a lot of quality go, reading reports and the way that they need to finance their stadium by player sales all it takes is Wenger to cock up a couple of the youngesters he brings in and Arsenal's season goes to hell. I reckon this might just be their season to be poor. Maybe we can finally get revenge for the penalty that was, and then Arsenal moan a bit, so its no longer a penalty...

Plus, we have done well against the gooners in recent years, i tend to think this game has actually come at a good time for us, we can measure the strengh of Roys` signings early doors.

I reckon we'll pull off a draw. Cesc is a big part of their team but it's not like he's the only part of their team! There is still alot to get past but I think if we can knock a few past Hull on the first day spirits will be high and who knows what could happen!
