Fulham - Hangeland Gets the Armband!

The news that filtered through yesterday (Tuesday) that our Norwegian defender, Brede Hangeland, has been appointed captain of his country is worth a mention.

We here at Vital Fulham believe the appointment is down to the fact the Hangeland has moved to the high-profile Premier League and that his game has come on leaps and bounds since joining us.

Obviously, playing for a side that was plotting the great escape; has seen the giant defender involved in a lot of action, action that has honed his game to such an extent we can all applaud Brede on his fine appointment as captain.

Well done mate!

Hangeland is a future premiership star, I rate him so highly I think you might see one of the big clubs coming in for him in January. Fingers crossed we keep him.

Murphy will be our captain and Big-H will be our vice captain

Well done Brede

I expect he'll be captain next season. Murphy or Simon Davies will be captain this season I reckon but I have a feeling Jimmy might be vice captain! Much like the way it happens in a lot of sports where he's not a natural leader as such but more a figure of inspiration. Kinda.."Do as I do, not as I say" Still a great achievement and just shows that Roy has made some really good decisions in the transfer market
