Fulham - Gera To Provide the Chances!

I`ve got to admit I was pleasantly surprised when West Bromwich Albion sold us Zoltan Gera.

I`d seen the lad play during West Brom`s previous Premier League campaign, before they were relegated, and he impressed me.

The fact that when he did move on he chose Fulham shows what a charmer our own Roy Hodgson must be.

Since his move, Zoltan has settled well into the team and he could be the player to inspire us to great things next season.

His probing runs and intelligent passing auger well and the forwards must be licking their lips at playing just ahead of him and running on to the through balls.

Ahead of the start of the new season, Zoltan has spoken briefly about the coming season and indicated he`s looking forward to providing the ammunition for our new striker Andrew Johnson, commenting,

'Andy is one of the top strikers. I'm looking forward to creating lots of goals for him.'

We`d imagine Bobby Zamora is quite looking forward to the season as well.

Can't wait to see our attacking options come together!! Zamora, AJ, Gera, Davies, Murphy, Bullard even Nevland!!! Great stuff!

Yeah me too! Although, I bet we don't score a goal for the first 5 matches now!!!

if we can't score at Hull we might as well give up now!

lol - don't right them off - they'll be full of fire!

Gera is one of the deals of the summer in my opinion, WBA must be gutted he's gone

So Gera on the left of a 442 or Gera behind the strikers in 4312?
Backslash2010
On the left in a 442 I think. We're really unlucky to get Hull first I think. They'll be tough to play against and I know I'd much prefer to play them after they've lost 5 games
