Fulham - Volz Middlesbrough Bound?

Fulham - Volz Middlesbrough Bound?

After losing Luke Young to Aston Villa, Middlesbrough manager, Gareth Southgate, is on the look out for a new defender.

His preferred option appeared to be Justin Hoyte, the Arsenal defender. Sadly, for Boro supporters, he appears to have been put off by the price.

Instead, according to new sources, he`s turned his attention to our very own Moritz.

Volz, who doesn`t apparently feature in Roy Hodgson`s plans, is, if the news source is correct, available for £2 million and could be tempted by the move north.

Wouldn't be surprised tbh! He is out of favour and boro really need an experienced right back. Shame though, top bloke.

I've never understood Volz's decline at Fulham. He was and is an amazing right back and I really struggle to understand why he was dropped and never made it back into the team?!? Did something happen that we don't know about??
