Fulham - Are We Forcing Bullard Out?

Are we about to head down one of those routes whereby something develops out of nothing?

With Roy Hodgson, at the Andy Johnson press conference, effectively dismissing any talks about a new contract for Jimmy Bullard, the player himself has today spoken, in the Sunday People, about how he feels regarding the situation, remarking,

I've been told the club want me, but then when I went to talk about a contract they aren't interested, so I've been left confused.'

'I spoke to Fulham about an extended contract and they weren't willing to give me one until I came closer to the end of my current deal."

'I've got two years left and I felt it was a normal time to start talking about a new one."

'Two years isn't long in football terms.'

Like I mentioned in my opening gambit, are we heading for a situation whereby Jimmy, supposedly wanted by the club, feels a move could be the answer for the long term security he apparently craves?

We'll have him back if you dont want him

I think if her were to move it'd be somewhere a little better than the JJB!

He is being very greedy! He has played less than 20 games for us and already he wants a higher wage! He isn't actually that great a player. he is a personality and has an amazing dead ball play. but he gives the ball away too much. Don't get me wrong, i love the lad. However it won't be the end of the world if he does go (don't think it will happen).

Totally agree with orange_emu. Yes he been there when we really needed him, but only twenty games worth. Keep him if poss on same contract, and if he shines this season then give him better terms.

Umm Emu, why are you calling Jimmy "the Lad" he is 11 years older than you, but anyway the Cheeky git plays 20 games in 2 years and want's more money,
