Fulham - Johnson Praises Hodgson!

Fulham - Johnson Praises Hodgson!

Now that the dust has settled on the Andrew Johnson transfer saga, we can all look forward to our clash with the Italian club, Torino, this weekend.

At the moment, we`re not sure if Andy will participate fully or whether he`ll be given a cameo role but we are sure that Andy will be keen to get his Fulham career up and running.

Ahead of his Fulham debut, Andy has spoken out about the happenings of the last week or so, commenting,

"I am glad it`s been finalised and I can concentrate on playing for Fulham."

"Roy Hodgson has been great to me over this last week or so."

"His support has only strengthened my ambition to give 100 per cent for him and the team every week."

On behalf of Vital Fulham, I`d like to take this opportunity to officially welcome Andy to our fine club, a club with great tradition and a club that is on the up.

I can't wait to see him in a B&W shirt. This is the first time in the past 2-3 seasons that I've actually looked at our first team and thought that we've got some decent players. Bullard is back, Gera has been brought in, Zamora and Johnson upfront - exciting times for us. We just need to buy another central defender and I'll be very happy with our team
