'If It's Football, It's Vital'

That Newcastle Healy Interest!

The arrival of Andrew Johnson, from Everton, is certainly the hottest news topic we`ve had since our epic great escape last season.

His arrival though has complications and we`re not talking about the knee injury that held up the deal.

With Roy Hodgson having already purchased Bobby Zamora it`s fairly certain that Andrew Johnson and Bobby Zamora will form his first choice striking partnership.

Therefore, with two other Hodgson signings waiting in the wings, namely, Eddie Johnson and Erik Nevland, a certain David Healy must be fearful for his future. And that's not accounting the return of a fit again Collins John!

Although Healy has implied that he wants to stay and fight for his place the scenario may be taken out of his hands. Already, we suspect the vultures are sniffing around Craven Cottage.

Strangely enough though, we`re unable to get out heads around a reported interest from Newcastle, as suggested on Tribal Football. It`s not so much the possibility of Newcastle being the destination that throws us but more the fact the fee is reported as £1.5 million.

What are we? A charity!

Wow, that's pretty shocking that they'd be interested in him. We should sell him if we can get anything above £1m I think. Would be good to get him off the wage bill too
