Hull After ex-Fulham Defender!

After being released by Fulham, after dreadful luck with injuries, it seems the paths of Philippe Cristanval and Fulham may cross again.

The twenty-nine year old French defender, released last month, is currently in talks with the Hull City manager, Phil Brown.

If these talks prove to be successful, then Cristanval could line up against us in our first game of the new Premier League 2008-2009 season!

Or as Vital Fulham member wobble succintly puts it,

I was a fan of Christinval, in a time when we had Zat Knight and Ian Pearce he was the one who I always thought could replace the legend who is Alain Goma! However, I was not sad to see him released this summer as he clearly is costing the club too much and we were not getting our moneys worth.

a very unfortunate and under-rated player!

A solid player, dependable and consistent... when he was fit! Which, we all know, was rarely. Shame because he could have been one a regular for us. Wish him well at Hull, he deserves to be in the premiership
donfulham
