AJ Fails Medical ?

All can I say is...what did I say?

We`d hoped by now that Fulham would have announced a club record deal for Andrew Johnson.

But things have not gone to plane, we believe!

Unfortunately, the prospect of Johnson returning north is a possibility after question marks were raised at his medical.

A medical examination carried out by one of Mohammed Al Fayed`s personal physician`s, at the start of the week, has found a problem with Johnson`s knee.

The club are still keen on signing Johnson but are now trying to negotiate a lower price with Everton.

Everton though are confident that Johnson is fully fit and they look like refusing to waiver over the price.

We have had no official comment from Fulham and despite the longevity of the announcement of the completion of the deal; the club insist negotiations are still ongoing.

Apparently his knee wasn't as hairy as the phisician would have liked, oh well Gomez here we come
Backslash2010
good to see Al Fayed being so careful though - its a lot of money!
Al Billy
Totally agree with Mafs doctors giving him a thorough going over, he will not want to get stung after our last big money (flop) signing.

My knee is quite hairy. Maybe they'll sign me??

The deal is still on guys, it will be completed soon
oranje_emu
I hope so, we really need him.

strange one fit enough to play for everton but not fit enough to pass a medical; one thinks your trying to get the price down
mick66owl
Even stranger mick66owl that Fulham are still willing to sign him even after he has failed a medical. AJ's agent will not be happy with this news.
