Fulham - Bullard Going Nowhere!

It really cheesed us off when the rumours that Jimmy Bullard might be returning to Wigan were doing the rounds last week!

Here we have Roy Hodgson doing his hardest to build a team that will confine the days of relegation battles to the dustbin and the media seem to believe that they can just, by rumour, wreck things.

Thankfully, Jimmy has stepped forward to end the gossip an confirm that he is in talks with regards to a new deal!

This is what Jimmy had to say,

'It's nice to hear that Wigan would want me back - it shows I'm well thought of.'

'But it's the first I've heard of it. Wigan is a great club and have got a great manager."

'But my gaffer hasn't said anything to me about it."

'I got a call from a mate when I was on our tour of Korea saying there was something in the papers about me coming back to Wigan, but I know nothing about it."

'I'm in talks at the moment about a new contract. I've got two years to run on my deal and we just thought it was the right time to try and sit down and get a new one sorted."

'Hopefully it will all be sorted out soon.'

What I've been saying since the rubbish started appearing! It seems our own fans have been the reason for the "Bullard will be sold" bull not die.

yh and he will have hopefully of sighned a new contract to secure his future hes a legend and you can tell he likes it at fulham by they way he is in his interviews

hes staying i think there 2 years left on his contract if he can have a good next seaon to be honest im confident he will stay and will does amazing for us and give him the contract then
