What! No Johnson News!

What! No Johnson News!

According to every source under the sun, today was meant to be the day!

The much-vaunted signing of Andrew Johnson, from Everton, was to be announced with a full trumpet salute and a flotilla of dancing girls.

But it hasn`t happened.

All we can do is assume that it`s being saved for tomorrow seeing as today was Mr Stoor`s today, or are we to read something more sinister into this?

Your thoughts please!

I'm a little suspicious. He started the medical on Monday and it was supposed to be finished yesterday. I know that he had to discuss personal terms, but I would have assumed that these would have been completed today. The rumours around Mario Gomez have also made me a little suspicious to be honest. I really hope AJ signs tomorrow!

Well we kno mr alfayeds old trick of getting his "personal physician" to come down and find faults with a player no one else can, we then ask for a couple of million off and the player doesn't sign!! To be honest i would rather get Gomez... but i wouldn't be suprised to see AJ being presented later tonight or tomorrow!!

I have visions of Al Fayed standing at a cash point still drawing the money out to pay Everton :-)

It is a bit suspicious. The official line was that we would know sometime on Tuesday. Would it be great or what if we could get AJ AND Gomez. Do you think that Mr Alf might be prepared to stump up that much. Here's hoping!!

Double signing annoncement 2moz then!! haha! I know he will sign 2moz its just because the CEO's couldn't meet (as Everton don't have one atm!)

Heard a rumour that AJ failed the medical with knee and achillies problems and that the fee is being re-negotiated. Good old Al-F's personal physician!

It's all that falling over he does, he is worse than Klinnsman for that. No wonder his bl00dy knees are shot.
