Fulham Beat Ulsan Hyundai!

After slipping to a narrow defeat in the first fixture of the Korean Tour, Fulham were looking to get back to winning ways today.

The opponents for the second game of this tour were Ulsan Hyundai and the game was played in the wonderfully named, Big Crown Stadium.

The game also saw our new goalkeeper, Mark Schwarzer, make his Fulham debut.

Fulham almost made a dream start when Bobby Zamora hit the bar in the first minute but were to fall behind later in the first half.

As Ulsan Hyundai pushed forward, Pantsil did well to clear an effort off the line but the ball just looped up invitingly for Lee Jin Ho to head home from six yards.

The second half saw a better performance from Fulham. With Jimmy Bullard on as a substitute Fulham equalised through Simon Davies. The Welshman scoring with a good header, from adjacent to the penalty spot, from a Bullard cross.

The game was won when Zoltan Gera netted the winner. The build up to the goal saw Ki-Hyeon deliver a cross for Gera but his shot was saved, perseverance from Healy saw Gera presented with a second chance and he made no mistake this time.

A win is a win and no doubt Roy Hodgson will have taken a few notes on the positives and negatives of the performance as that vital first game, against Hull City, approaches.
Team - Mark Schwarzer (GK), Moritz Volz, John Pantsil, Aaron Hughes, Paul Konchesky, Danny Murphy (C), Simon Davies, Leon Andreasen, Zoltan Gera, Eddie Johnson, Bobby Zamora

Subs: David Stockdale(GK), Pascal Zuberbühler (Trialist GK), David Healy, Jimmy Bullard, Seol Ki-Hyeon, Clint Dempsey, Andranik, Robert Milsom
