With the Andy Johnson rumours gathering pace at a frantic speed, we here at Vital Fulham thought we`d have a look at who else might be available on the open market.
After all, there`s no point in rushing into these thing is there, especially when we`re talking about such a huge sum.
So who else have we been linked to?
For a start there`s Aruna Dindane. So what`s his scoring record like? On paper he`s scored 20 goals in 90 appearances since joining Lens and has also notched up 14 goals for the Ivory Coast in 40 internationals
Is he a possible candidate?
Secondly, we could look at Djibril Cisse. He`s got Premier League experience having scored 13 goals for Liverpool in 49 games, 16 in 35 games for Marseilles and, according to reports wants a return to England.
Is he a possible candidate?
Thirdly, Dutch TV has linked us to Sekou Cisse, this fellow has scored 16 goals in 83 appearances for Roda FC and also has 3 goals in 4 games for the Ivory Coast.
Fourthly, a certain Andrew Johnson with whom we`re continuously linked. So what`s Johnson`s record like? In 2007 Johnson only managed 11 goals and only 6 the year before. However, Johnson made his reputation with Crystal Palace scoring 21 goals in his first Premier League season.
So who should it be folks?
