Fulham Lose First Tour Game 1-0!

Fulham suffered their first defeat in their pre-season matches today with a 1-0 reverse in their first game of the Korean tour.

The opposition were the Korean side, Busan l`Park and the winning goal came in the 57th minute when a deflected shot from Choi Ki Suk beat Pascal Zuberbuhler, who had replaced David Stockdale at half time.

The fixture, played in humid conditions, gave Roy Hodgson the perfect opportunity to give his signings the perfect chance to bond with their new team mates.

In a 4-4-2 formation David Stockdale, John Pantsil, Bobby Zamora and Andranik were all given the opportunity to shine.

For the opposition, Kim Seung Hyun went close early on with two efforts, the first was cleared off the line by Leon Andreasen whilst the second saw his header smack against the cross bar.

Lee Cook and Bobby Zamora both had chances to open the scoring but couldn`t make the best of limited chances. David Healy also went close as did Danny Murphy with a free kick.

With the home side winning Fulham went for broke in the last few minutes and both Eddie Johnson and Toni Kallio went close but it wasn`t to be.

Niemi is off to Juve. need an experienced backup. I heard we looked jet-lagged and the humidity almost killed them. I like Zuberbuhler and Pantsil was very good apparently
