Fulham - Yet More Johnson Rumours!

The rumours linking Andy Johnson with a move to Craven Cottage just refuse to go away.

At the moment I'm slowly coming around to the idea that there is no smoke without fire.

Today, I've opened up the tabloids to see that Johnson didn't play in Everton's 1-0 win at Preston last night, in a friendly, and that our club are the favourites to secure his signature thanks to a mind numbing bid of anything between £10.5 million and £10.75 million.

It's also implied that Johnson, who is keen on a return to London, would be on a salary of £60,000 a week.

I think I need a lie down!

He will be a good addition, however, on £60k a week i can't see it happening he'll have to come down to 40-50k. would be nice to have him aboard

Surely we can't afford him?

Apparently we have had the bid accepted and are just waiting to talk to AJ. Everton are slowing things up so they can find a replacement.
