Pantsil Excited at Fulham Challenge!

With Paul Stalteri having returned off loan and with the transfer of Fredrik Stoor still to have the signature applied to the contract, Saturday gave us the chance to look at one of the candidates to fill the right-back slot, John Pantsil.

Pantsil, signed as part of the double swoop on West Ham, whereby Bobby Zamora also came to Craven Cottage, failed to make a major impact at West Ham making only seven starts in two years.

Hopefully, the move from east to west will give the Ghanaian international fresh impetus to make that Premier League breakthrough.

Fulham new-boy John Pantsil is hoping to use his move across London to prove he is good enough for the Premier League.

Speaking to www.kickoffghana.com Pantsil explained that he saw the transfer as a fresh challenge remarking,

'This is a new challenge now for me, to come here and prove that I deserve to be a Premiership regular.'

'I am happy with the opportunity and determined go put in the time on the training grounds to get that.'

'I have felt welcome here. I was just delighted to play and I hope it is a sign of good things to come.'

We hope so to, let's see how it works out shall we!

From what I saw of him - get Stoor quick, double-quick!
Al Billy
come on chaps - lets at least give him a proper chance before we get on his back!
Putney
At Celtic he was a bit haphazard and I noticed that Celtic started concentrating their attacks on the left wing when they realised it was pretty easy to get round the bloke, but he was on the pitch for only 45mins hopefully he'll settle down and show us some premiership quality.
