'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Healy Says Sorry!

Yesterday we featured an article whereby we criticised David Healy.

Healy, on Saturday, against Celtic, had mimicked playing a flute, in a sectarian way, after receiving some mild abuse from the travelling Celtic fans.

We implied that Healy should use his loaf before resorting to such gestures.

Thankfully, the kerfuffle surrounding the action may be dying down.

Healy himself has stepped forward to offer his apologies remarking,

'I am supposed to be a role model and I can only apologise.'

'I can guarantee from my point of view it will never happen again.'

'It was one of those regrettable incidents that somebody said something and I made a silly gesture which ultimately I regret.'

Right! Can we get back to the football now please!

storm in a tea cup. yet to meet a celtic fan who didn't take it as was intended, good humoured banter. the media seem to have exagerated the whole incident beyond recognition.

The Celtic fans made nothing of it, as usual it was the Scottish media A.K.A The hardcore Rangers supporters trust, that made a meal out of it. Flutes in Ireland represent the victory of massacring thousands of Catholics. Healy done it as a joke, nobody cared.
