'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fulham - Baird - A Humorous Tale!

Over on Vital Southampton, I stumbled across a little article that the author sort of admitted that he`d made up, that he`d started the rumour.

It suggested that our Chris Baird, formerly of Southampton, was going to return to the south-coast side.

Strangely enough, Vital Southampton saw it as a positive event!

Also, strangely enough, the story shot to the top of the Fulham NewsNow charts.

Now we`re not sure if that was because of the number of Southampton fans keen to see him return or the number of Fulham fans praying it was true!

Unfortunately Saints are no longer of the same standard as Fulham. Baird would be gratefully received on the south coast. As for Fulham, wouldn’t be too smug. There are far bigger clubs in the Championship. If the cottagers when down next season I couldn’t see them lasting the pace.

After last season I think you'd find it hard to find a smug Fulham fan with most of us thanking our lucky stars that we managed to escape. But the fact is that Baird has been useless for Fulham, he was given a long time to prove himself by the stubborn S*****z who refused to accept what we all saw. A poor player completely out of his depth. No one has a good thing to say about Baird, he even punched Jimmy Bullard in a training incident, so the sooner Baird is out of Fulham the better!

he's a wierd looking fella

Apparently he will stay. Roy has been impressed with him at CB and so he is going to to be cover for Hughes Big H and whoever else we are going to sign in that position

stay, stay - is Roy mad I have to ask!
Al Billy
if that is the case let's hope we don't pick up any injuries!
Putney
Agree Putney, Baird as our defensive lynchpin instead of Hangeland anyone? What do we think of that prospect? You'd seriously get rid of Boca and keep Baird??
