Fulham - Healy (Potentially) in Hot Water!

After only recently having run a poll asking whether David Healy could replicate his national form in the white of Fulham, the very same man finds himself, potentially, in hot water.

Healy could be in trouble after mimicking a gesture that landed Paul Gascoigne in hot water several years ago.

After suffering a little bit of verbal abuse from the travelling support, Healy proceeded to mimic playing a flute.

His agent, Stephen Hughes, has played down the gesture remarking,

'David was wearing boots with a Northern Ireland flag on. The Celtic fans saw that and know he is a Rangers fan.'

'They were chanting, where were you on the 12th, the Orange marching day in Belfast.'

So he simply pretended to play the flute - there was no attempt to inflame the fans.'

Now that would appear to be a simple explanation, unfortunately the anti-sectarian charity - Nil by Mouth - view the act differently claiming that

'some fans were absolutely furious.'

Now we here on this site don't want to get involved in any sectarian business, we're in this for our sport and not politics but we'd like to ask to offer David some simple advice,

'Next time mate - use your loaf!'

So it was nice to get a Celtic pre-season friendly again, no doubt they'll tell us to get lost next year!
