Vital Fulham Interviews: Martintheveg

Martintheveg is next up for the Vital Fulham interview.

1 - How long have you been a Fulham fan and how did you get the bug?
Have been going now for 42 years. My grandparents were all from Fulham, Hammersmith and Chiswick so it was a family thing although as we had moved to Maidstone i had to wait until i started earning a wage.

2 - What was your first game?
My first game was home to West Ham, I think it was `66, we won 4-2.

3 - What is your most memorable moment as a Fulham fan?
The f.a.cup run of `74.

4 - And the worst moment?
At the time, selling Alan Clarke.

5 - Who are your favourite current Fulham players?
Jimmy B. Andreason. Simon Davies.

6 - Which former player/s are your ultimate heroes?
Johnny Haynes (of course), Alan Clarke, Edwin Van De Sar, Saha, Steed and Boa.

7 - Which player do you think was the worst to ever put on the team colours?
Frank Large.

8 - What is the best goal you have seen Fulham score and which is your favourite game?
Jon Harley, without question.

9 - Best away ground visited?
I always enjoy Sunderland, love the stadium and the 'roker' roar.

10 - Who would you like to see Fulham sign this summer?
Berbatov.

11 - What are your predictions for us this season in the:
a) League: mid table.
b)Carling Cup: couple of rounds
c) Fa Cup: Quarter-final.

12 - What is your opinion of Roy Hodgson?
R.H. top man for me, very diplomatic, thinks about what he is going to say, and we will find out for sure this season just how good he is for us, i am very, very hopeful.

13 - What is your opinion of MAF?
MAF has been magnificent for FFC, without doubt, we would be nothing without him, i don`t think i would like to work for him though, or deal with him on a business level.

14 - Are you happy to stay at the Cottage or is it time to move on?
FFC = Craven Cottage.

15 - Where do you sit at the Cottage and are you a season ticket holder?
Hammy end, tenth season ticket.

16 - If you could invite 4 people connected to Fulham, living or dead, to a dinner party, who would they be?
Johnny Haynes, Bobby Moore, Tommy Trinder and Jimmy B.

Thank you Martintheveg for taking the time to answer the questions.
