'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Zamora Makes Instant Fulham Impact!

Having questioned the signing of Bobby Zamora big time last week, I have to admit to having to eat a large slice of humble pie this evening.

If Bobby can produce work and a goal like he did today on a regular basis next season he`ll have been worth every penny of his fee.

Roy Hodgson obviously thought the same way when after the game he commented,

'It was a wonderful goal created by a nice move. It's a good start for Bobby.'

'He had a difficult time last season and needs a new start. He needs to put last season totally behind him.'

'We'll work on him becoming the player he was before last season. We're getting a man who is very motivated to show he is a top-class Premier League player.'

'He did enough in his first 45 minutes today to suggest we'll get some good use out of him.'

Welcome on board Bobby!

two great goals - got to be worth another couple of beers each!

Guys I was at the game today. Doubts regarding Woy and the signing of Zamora have been blown away by what I saw. It was blatantly obvious within the first fw minutes why RH has bought Zamora. He filled the McGod gap well, he was a crucial part of Nevlands beautiful first goal. Was a constant threat, held the ball up well, his link play was superb and in his first game his understanding with Nevland was amazing. I think the Nevland - Zamora partnership will surprise us all!

He's a good player. I thought he would be good for you when you signed him and he has started well so far.

let's wait until he's played several games not just forty-five minutes - I'll risk another slice of humble pie!
