Fulham Keeper Leaves Craven Cottage!

Fulham Keeper Leaves Craven Cottage!

Not too long ago I ran a poll asking who you`d like to see between the sticks at Craven Cottage next season.

I copped for a bit of flack as I`d left out the name of Ricardo Batista from the list of options.

I could, after events that have occurred today, remark that I was in the know, that I knew what was about to happen, but I won`t, I simply forgot in the rush to get the poll listed.

Since listing the options and picking Schawrzer as your first choice, Ricardo Batista has left Craven Cottage.

After spending four years at Craven Cottage, having signed from Vitora Sitabul, Ricardo has gone back to Portugal to join Sporting Lisbon.

He has signed a three year deal and is extremely happy to have done so remarking,

'It was a great surprise.'

'There were a number of clubs interested but agreement was reached with Sporting and it was good for me to come here.'

We wish him well and thank him for his service.
