Fulham - Leave Johnson - Get Scharner!

Sitting here watching the drizzle outside, whatever has happened to our summer, I had a brainwave!

With, as we've already reported, Wigan very keen to sign Andrew Johnson, from Everton, to bolster their forward line, and us being nominated as their main rivals for his signature, could it all be a smokescreen?

Already I've doubted the wisdom of pursuing Johnson believing it wouldn't be money worth spent, so why not allow Wigan a clear run in trying to acquire his signature as long as they end a long running saga and sell us a long term target.

That target being Paul Scharner!

Scharner has previously been the subject of much speculation and with the Austrian not too keen on signing a new contract at the JJB, he may be keen on a move south.

Now is that a good idea or is it total crap?

Your thoughts would be greatly received!
