Vital Fulham Interviews: Backslash2010

Backslash2010 is next up for the Vital Fulham interview.

1 - How long have you been a Fulham fan and how did you get the bug?
The oldest Fulham memory I have is my family round watching a match when I was like 6 or 7 or something since then I liked Fulham but hadn`t chosen my team as my dad supported Spurs and my mum and her side of the family were from Fulham. I remember being in primary school in year 3 when my sister told me that because she supported Fulham and that supporting Spurs would be glory hunting (HA) I had to support Fulham. So since then I have been a life long fan.

2 - What was your first game?
My first visit to the cottage was Fulham vs. Man U in the FA cup 00/01 season. I`ve no idea how we got tickets but most of my family went there, as for the match well that`s something different the cold didn`t matter as I was watching Fulham the team, the only team up against the premiership champions, we lost 2-1, Bugger.

3 - What is your most memorable moment as a Fulham fan?
1 of 3 I can`t decide, 1 - my first match when Beckham took a throw on like two feet away from me, 2 - Fulham`s 1-0 win over Chelsea HA or 3, Fulham Vs. Liverpool lsat season when Dempsey scored the goal that kept us up.

4 - And the worst moment?
Half time Fulham vs. Man city.

5 - Who are your favourite current Fulham players?
Super Jimmy Bullard, Clint Dmepsey and Simon Davies.

6 - Which former player/s are your ultimate heroes?
Brian McBride and Louis Boa Morte.

7 - Which player do you think was the worst to ever put on the team colours?
Seol Ki-Hyeon.

8 - What is the best goal you have seen Fulham score and which is your favourite game?
I can`t remember the match or the player and it was only on sky sports soccer Saturday but they showed a Fulham player scoring a goal from like the half way line, it was amazing.
Best game was defiantly Fulham Vs. Liverpool at the end of last season.

9 - Best away ground visited?
City of Manchester Stadium.

10 - Who would you like to see Fulham sign this summer?
Stoor, Simunic and a replacement for McBride.

11 - What are your predictions for us this season in the:
a) League: 13th.
b)Carling Cup: final
c) Fa Cup: Quarter-final.

12 - What is your opinion of Roy Hodgson?
It He is a good manager with Experience but needs to work on his buying skills.

13 - What is your opinion of MAF?
He was a bit of a Wally but he is the reason Fulham are where they are so he is OK in my books.

14 - Are you happy to stay at the Cottage or is it time to move on?
Move on to put it blunt, I love the Cottage but compared to the rest of the league`s it looks old .

15 - Where do you sit at the Cottage and are you a season ticket holder?
I have mostly been in the Jonny Haynes Stand but I was once in the Putnry end for Spurs Vs. Fulham two seasons ago.

16 - If you could invite 4 people connected to Fulham, living or dead, to a dinner party, who would they be?
Jonny Haynes It would be a great honour to sit with him, Jimmy Hill cause he like invented modern football rules and once owned Fulham, Jimmy Bullard as he would provide the entertainment with his stand up, and George Best as I reckon I could drink him under the table.
