Hodgson Signs West Ham Duo!

The official Fulham site has finally confirmed what we`ve all anticipated for the last forty-eight hours!

Namely, that the signings of Bobby Zamora and John Pantsil have been completed.

According to the official site they have been signed for a combined fee of £6.3 million with Zamora signing a four year deal and Pantsil a three year deal.

On completing the deal Zamora told the official club site,

'I am delighted that we have reached an agreement to enable me to play for Fulham next season. I am looking forward to joining the rest of the team this week and preparing for the new campaign. This is a new challenge for me and the prospect of working with a coach of Roy Hodgson`s caliber was a great opportunity, so I am excited at the prospect of competing for a regular place in the team.`

We here at Vital Fulham would like to wish both Bobby and John every success at their new club.

not quite sure they'd have been my targets but then again I'm not in charge!
Al Billy
But all the best guys - lets get the show on the road now!
Al Billy
raising the bar for next year now?
Lindy
Lets get behind RH and the team he sees as being the right one. I'm still euphoric that he/they are still in the Prem. So until proved otherwise, I trust Woy to make us proud.
Fulfan_cymru
I'd personally add Quashie for free. Interested? :)
RussianHammer
these two good aditions for 6.3 million and will cheer them on

Bollox! Why Woy? Why?
Backslash2010
backslash couldnt agree more!!
wobbles
You lot not pleased to see these two arriving? It's more personal attachment than anything, but I'm fairly disappointed to see their backs
HenryW15
Not signings I'd welcome if I was a Fulham fan.. Thought better of RH than that
Chix
Zamora is hardly going to set the world alight, both in terms of performances and goals. He'll do for the time being, but I think you still need a couple more signings before resting on your laurels.
daspecial1
What happened to roys amazing Europian knowlage, why the funk did he even go to the euros if the best striker he can get was sitting on the bench on the west side
Backslash2010
Because Z-man will do the biz for us! he is what we need and is a good addition! we've got him and paintsil for £1.3 million plus LBM!!
oranje_emu
WTF?! I have heard nothing of this, you do mean Dead Snake right?
Backslash2010
It seems like a lot of money, but I suppose we need to remember that the deal is for two players? I'm undecided on our poll today about the signings, I agree with Backslash, I was expecting RH to bring in an amazing European striker I'd never heard of like he did when he brought in the amazing Hangeland and the equally good Andreasen. But fundamentaly we have to trust Woy. Who knows maybe there is another deal in the pipeline to surprise us all?
donfulham
I did mean the dead snake goint the other way.
oranje_emu
You'll survive again next season, not because of who signed but because of the dross that got promoted
storagematt
z-mans gonna do the business. can't think of a striker you've had whos better so i'd stop complaining plus paintsil never got the chance to show what he can do but when on the pitch showed why "he comes from africa hes better than kaka!"
wookie
ok maybe saha was better but bobbys not as fragile
wookie
booobby is a decent addition to our squad hes big and hes fast but pantsil well yh he likes to play football and he gives it his all but im not quite shaw hes the best going if you know what i mean....
