Fulham`s Warner linked With Hull!

After originally being linked with Antti Niemi, Hull City look like snatching another of our keepers.

The man in question is Tony Warner.

Warner started last season as the man in possession of our keeper`s shirt but a series of errors saw him replaced. That doesn`t seem to have put Hull City boss, Phil Brown off who is quoted as remarking,

'I'm looking for an experienced keeper to come in and challenge and Tony has been doing that at various clubs in the Premier League.

'He's got a wealth of experience and I think it's imperative that we carry three quality goalkeepers in the Premier League next year.'


If the terms offered are favourable, we`d hazard a guess that Warner will be on his way!

take him!!! pay for him to go!!! i will give hull a tenner to take him!!! Ohh the prospect of our stikers getting to shoot at him in goal on the first day of the season im thinking top of the league by the end of august 16th!!!

I'd suggest that will not be the case, more like a blinder for 85 minutes then two howlers in the last 5 to give us all three points!

The quote from Hull I'm confused about? Warner came in to our squad after Cookie was desperately looking for keeper cover. It was a swift transfer from Cardiff and wasn't he in the reserves for Cardiff as well at the time? Where is Warner's huge premiership experience?
