Fulham - A Suprise Winner?

Fulham - A Suprise Winner?

With our club still top heavy with goalkeepers, we couldn`t resist asking the question!

All we wanted to know, out of the options we gave you, was who you perceived as our number one choice for next season.

We have to say that the results more than surprised us!

After doing such a good job during that crucial survival fight we thought that Kasey Keller might get more than the 13% he finished on.

Also, after some great work between the sticks, we thought that Antti Niemi might be more to your favour, but apparently not as only 21% voted for him.

With reference to David Stockdale, we`re happy to accept that he still has to earn the right to be a Premier League keeper, as the 10% he received confirms.

So that leaves two options, one, the cheekily named Gawd Knows only served to confirm that, like us, you`re not to clear about what lies ahead.

Therefore, it leaves a clear winner, Mark Schwarzer with a vote of 44% as your choice for the permanent position between the sticks.

And that`s after he`s yet to make his Fulham debut!

I'm not that surprised! Keller looks set to leave, and Schwarzer has been brought in for the No. 1 shirt. You forgot Batista though!

Batista, i remember before our league cup game against west brom 2 years ago he was warming up with warner and i remember saying to my mate that he looked awesome, this was compared to warner who was dropping everything! it just so happened warner had an awful game... i know this means nothing but i still hate tony warner...except against liverpool!

perhaps we should have gone after Scott Carsen - if Stoke can sign him for £4m we've missed out imo!

scott carson can be prone to blunder liek the one against coratia and the poor positioning against bullard even tho i was a good free kick i htink scwarzer is a good goalie hes younger than niemi alot taller but still not the best in the air despite his large frame
