Fulham in Fresh Spurs O`Hara Bid!

Earlier this week we ran an article indicating that the Spurs starlet, Jamie O`Hara might be coming to Fulham on loan.

Spurs supporters baulked the idea as being ridiculous, suggesting the youngster had only just signed a new contract. Then it was probably no surprise to find out that the Spurs manager, Juande Ramos, had vetoed the idea.

But it appears Fulham have not given up hope of landing the youngster with the implying that Hodgson is prepared to try and sign Jamie permanently.

A fee of £4 million is quoted and Hodgson believes the lure of regular first team football may well spark off the deal.

As usual, we`ll keep you informed.

thats better, a permanent signing always shows more ambition than a loan signing!

if this is true, its completely ridiculous by fulham...jamie o hara has just penned a new deal at spurs, as you all know, and been praised by ramos as a great example to our up and coming young lads, of what they can acheive if they work hard (1st team football)....there is as much chance of this happening, as us signing ronaldo to replace him
lillywhites101
Does seem a tad unlikely. Would you like jenas instead ?
yido1961
though nothing would surprise me, I dont think Jamie looking to more to get regular football is a true reflection of the situation, jamie made 25 apps for us in all competitions between the end of november and the end of the season, so he certainly got games. I think jamie would be looking to push on at spurs this season and may only move on "if" he is told he can go. as for the new contract issue that is 100% true, but there is the possibliity that Spurs would use this to get a better deal if and when he was sold, though personally I would put my money on Jamie being in the white of spurs and not fulham this season..

I suspect this is just tabloid rumour but be nice if we could get him!

Seems the media have a plan to destabilise Spurs before the season starts. Every paper is running with the "Man United's £20million Berbatov bid", Rafa has "firmed up his interest for Keane" - although that headline is probably more to do with Rafa's sexual preferences than any attempt to bid for our striker, Gus Poyet is apparently the favourite to succeed Carlos Queiroz as Fat Ferguson's assistant, and now our most promising youngster is the subject of a £4million bid from your boys. Now who says the media apparent disdain for Spurs is not imaginary?
Othello
If you think you've got it bad! The press are aiming for our fans!! £6.5million for Zamora! lol
oranje_emu
I Reckon he's worth £5-6 Million rather than 4, but i'd love to see him at the cottage, alas it aint gonna happen
Backslash2010
you should never say never in this game!
Al Billy
I'd say that if we are goig to improve as a club, he's the kind of youngster we need to be attracting!
Putney
That would be could capture. He played havoc with us, Pompey, in both games.
storagematt
5-6 million and spurs should accept it well they shjould o because spurs are really begging to sighn a few people and he may be pushed out just like steed!
