Fulham - United Bottle It!

Anyone looking forward to that trip to Old Trafford on August 30th will be a touch disappointed.

Thanks to Manchester United`s title triumph, last May, they are bound, by UEFA regulations, to participate in the European Super Cup fixture against Zenit St Petersburg,

This fixture will take place on the 29th August thereby making it impossible for our original fixture to be fulfilled.

No doubt it will be re-arranged for a time and date that is inconvenient to us all, most probably a dark midweek night whereby we`ll be forced to leave work early and arrive back in West London at some unearthly hour in the morning.

Thanks a lot United, you could have fielded a second string in what is a meaningless fixture and played us the next day!

What are you?

Soft or something?
