Boateng Not For Fulham!

Any chance Fulham had of showing a late interest in the Dutch midfielder, George Boateng, has all but ended.

The media are reporting that the Middlesbrough player has agreed a deal to join newly promoted Hull City for a rather modest fee of £1 million.

Clearly life in the north of our nation appeals to Boateng or is it the fact that he can, at a moments notice, jump on a boat to Amsterdam from the port of Hull!

Obviously a lot easier than taking a pleasure cruiser along the Thames, changing at Harwich and navigating up the North Sea!

I don't think he turned us down mate. I think it was very vagly reported we wanted him, most of it probably from me saying I wouldn't mind him at the Cottage.
oranje_emu
i didn't mind one way or the other - he'd only have been short term!

kendog - we only showed an interest but never spoke to the player otherwise he'd have signed for us!
