Zamora - What West Ham Supporters Think!

Glancing through the various message boards associated with West Ham United sites, there appears to be mixed feelings with regards to his probable transfer to us.

Several supporters are reluctant to see Zamora leave quoting him as a die-hard West Ham United fan who, along with Tevez, kept them in the Premier League during 2006-2007.

Several supporters remember the season West Ham United got promoted from the Championship citing Zamora and his goals as the reason why.

Several supporters love his hard working style suggesting he gives his all for the club and that a sale would be the wrong thing.

However, if we turn the coin over to its flipside,

Several supporters imply that his finishing isn`t all its cracked up to be, that the number of one-on-one`s he misses needs addressing.

Several supporters imply that he`s never going to be a great striker and that hard work is no substitute for class.

Several supporters insist that if their club is to move on it`s better to sell Zamora and Pantsil to raise funds that to sell a prized asset like Ferdinand.

Quite a mixed bag then!

Still i hope the reports are discusting roumers, i don't want another bloody spurs reject, i'll take O'Hara he's good, but £6.5 for Zamora is insane

West ham fan had this to say... Pantsil is not as bad as many people make out, gives 100%, athletic, better at going forward than defending but still solid. Most interestingly he said he actually preferred Pantsil to Lucas Neill - a player I quite rate. So, considering the fee which remains unclear I don't think it's as bad a signing as some people are suggesting. As for BZ said he was sorry to see him go, in his view was good enough for the prem, plays better in the big/high pressure games.

so if he moves he'll get a good reception when we play them!

would it be naughty if I said I didn't know West Ham supporters could read or write?
Putney
no - just funny and possibly true!
Al Billy
Think he got someone sitting next to him to do it :-P
