Hodgson Looking to Sign More!

Hodgson Looking to Sign More!

It`s been a quiet weekend on the news front, but finally we`ve uncovered something of greater interest than merely looking at how our past players might be moving on.

We`ve uncovered a few quotes from Roy Hodgson, fresh from his official role at Euro 2008; that would indicate that further signings will be made.

Talking to Sky Sports News, this is what Roy had to say,

"The signings in terms of transfer fees have not been costly."

"But I would suggest that Mark Schwarzer and Zoltan Gera are two very good quality players and we, at Fulham, have been able to persuade them that their futures lie here."

"We have other transfer targets on the market. It has been quiet, but that doesn`t mean that clubs out there don`t have targets and are not working behind the scenes."

I don`t want to sound rude Roy but can we have someone tomorrow, this newshound desperately needs to get his teeth into something!

You really must build on last season's squad if you want to avoid another season fighting it out tooth and nail. While Schwarzer and Gera are both good players, you need more depth as well.
