Fulham - Yet Another Finnan Article!
Earlier this summer (?) we covered the possibility of our ex full back Steve Finnan returning to Craven Cottage.
Many of you suspected that Steve could still do a decent job for us.
Unfortunately, Steve issued a statement whereby he wasn`t prepared to leave Liverpool but instead wanted to stay and fight for a regular starting place.
According to reports surfacing today, Steve might not get that chance.
With the on-off Gareth Barry transfer still rumbling on, Liverpool are now looking at including Steve Finnan as part of a deal that may prove to be attractive to Martin O`Neil.
Early reports indicate that Martin O`Neill rates the player, therefore instead of wearing a red shirt or a white shirt, it would seem the most favourable option is for Steve to wear a claret and blue shirt next season!
