Hodgson in for Kitson!

With Diomansy (Joe) Kamara looking at a six month recovery period after suffering a horrific injury during international duty, Fulham are now looking for a replacement.

Yesterday we mentioned how our name had been linked with Maynard, the young Crewe Alexandra striker, well today a more familiar name has come to the forefront, that of Dave Kitson.

The Reading striker has been suggested as a possible transfer target already this summer but now, many papers, are stating that the Kamara injury may well force Roy Hodgson's hand.

They are also intimating that a bid, in the region, of £3 million would tempt Reading to sell.

On a personal level, I'd steer well clear. Kitson didn't have a good season last time out and my opinion is that we could do better!

Do you agree or disagree?

£3 million - we're being ripped off - he's not that good!
Fulham Badger
Hang on you payed that for Kamara and he's useless. You won't sign him he's better of with Reading.
NDH
We paid twice that mate. £3million is a good price,he's a good striker.
oranje_emu
£6 million for Kamara wow you took a dent there was it a Coleman signing? 28 starts with 5 goals to his name is not good.
NDH
NDH - you're everywhere man - its our business - do one mate!
Al Billy
£3 million is a good price, he's a proven EPL goal scorer, he's strong and quik so why not, plus he did score 10 goals last season
Backslash2010
Kitson could be a decent target man upfront for us. Under S*****z we paid out 6 million on that useless lump Kamara, so 3 million on Kitson sounds like a decent investment to me! Still think we need to bring in two strikers
donfulham
If we bring in two strikers, what do we do with the ones wwe ave
Backslash2010
I agree with Backslash2010, Kitson's a proven scorer. But I can't see who he'd pair up with. He doesn't play RH's type of football. Can he be changed? Can RH work his magic. Might be worth a poll, what you say putney?
Fulfan_cymru
If we were to bring in two strikers, we would off load the strikers we have. Look at the list of strikers we've got, only the legend McGod has proved his class. Collins John, Healy, Kamara none of them are definite premership class. Nevland could be decent but we have to wait and see. We need to bring in decent strikers because if we can't score goals we're going to be in exactly the same position as last year.

Eddie Johnson remains a bit of an unknow still in my opinion, never got enough chances last season!
Putney
£3 million for Kitson should be good business.
