Fulham - That`s It, They`re Back!

The new season may still be a long way off but at least we`re about to take that crucial first step - the dreaded return for pre-season training!

Hopefully, the players will have kept themselves in reasonable shape when they report tomorrow morning to prepare for the 2008-2009 season.

Motspur Park will witness Roy and his squad begin preparations for our assault on a European place (are we all not optimistic at this stage of the season?) and there will be several new faces on show as well as numerous familiar faces no longer there.

We wish them well and we hope that first day back will not be as daunting as it used to be before professional footballers decided to look after their bodies better!

and about time and all, how much holiday do they bloody well need?
Fulham Badger
far too much, they hardly work as it is :-) 90 mins here and there and a bit of training, all for thousands a week!

haha, I'm not sure we could do the training they do, I remember watching sportsround and the presenter (who looked physically fit) got put through a training session and he barely lasted 5 mins and then he was throwing up and on the floor! Kamara is injured for 6 months!! Will post article once I hear more!

once heard a tale whereby an elderly manager bet his star striker he could run 100m quicker than he could drink a cup of water! he won cos the water was boiling hot!
