TJ Extends Stay

Youngster TJ Moncur has spoken about his delight at signing a new contract at Fulham and determined to crack the first team next season.

'At the end of the day, we all lack experience compared to the other players in the squad,' he told fulhamfc.com. 'But what we can do pre-season is try to beat the other players in our position at running, effort and being physically stronger than them. We won't have an advantage over them in experience so we have to make up for it in other areas.

'If we come back and they're fitter and stronger than us, plus they've got that experience, we're never going to get ahead. So we've got to work double hard and make sure that we're better. That's what I want to push for; I want to be Fulham's right back.'

Sounds good to me! Really wants to work for his chance in a position we really need strengthening! It's also good to hear we have two good young Right Backs in the form of Junior and TJ.

Fulham Badger
There is definitely an opportunity for someone tO make their mark at right back, so why not TJ!
Putney
He seems to be a larger more solid option to Junior, with the pace on top of that!
