Konchesky a Keegan Target?

Surfing, as usual, this morning, I came across a little article published by a provincial newspaper / site that suggested our popular left back, Paul Konchesky is a Newcastle United target.

Koncheskey, who joined us from West Ham United, was one of our most consistent performers last season and if he were to leave would result in a gaping back in our defence.

We understand that Newcastle`s owner, Mike Ashley, hasn`t granted Keegan the transfer budget he was quite hoping for. Therefore, Keegan is having to supplement his squad with players who are proficient rather than world stars.

We understand an offer in the region of £2.5 million might be forthcoming!

Are we being ripped off is the question I`d like to ask?

Surely, Konchesky is worth far more than that!

Konchesky is worth more than 2.5mil, he and Simon Davies over the entire season were our most consistent performers we'd be bonkers to let him go

We should do all we can do to keep him!! He's a brilliant left back.

Konchesky is not for sale. He and Davies were by far the most consistent performers in 07/08.
