Fulham - Simunic Slightly Over The Top?

Fulham - Simunic Slightly Over The Top?

I`m all for new signings trying to get into the good books of supporters. It never does any harm if they make a few gracious comments about the club they are joining. Unfortunately, as I sit and type this, I can`t help feeling that our touted new signing, Josip Simunic, has gone slightly overboard.

The Croatian, rumoured to be ready to put pen to paper and join Fulham after his summer holiday, is attributed as remarking, in a leading tabloid, that

"Fulham are a huge club."

Now homely, friendly, tradition, potential etc would normally be the words I`d be happy to hear but huge!

Maybe something got a little lost in the translation!

Will be a fantastic signing though! Two six-foot-five Central Defenders, lovely!

I've seen nimble forwards try to get past Hangeland, he just mullers them. If this bloke is half as good as Hangeland is I think our defence could be rocksolid next season!

I'm gonna stick my head out and say he's that little bit better than Hangeland!
