Two players set to leave!

Two players set to leave!

According to reports this morning Roy has put Moritz Volz and Chris Baird up for sale.

The reports continue to suggest Roy will accept a £1.5million loss on Baird and has also told Volz to look for a new club.

Lawrie Sanchez paid Southampton £3m for Baird however Baird has, shall we say, struggled to adapt to the pace of the Premiership.

Fans favourite Volz is also available on the cheap as the Fulham manager overhauls his squad.

In my opinion Baird is an obvious, he has been useless since he arrived and has no place at the club. However I am not so happy to read about Volzy being told he can leave.

Agreed, Baird was a disaster, he, Davis, Kamara, Seol... the list of dross that S*****z brought in goes on and on. Be lucky to get 1.5mil for him in my opinion. Volz being told to look for another club?? This is bonkers! I just don't understand it. Everyone here and on other fan forums are in agreement that Volz is a quality player so why did Cookie drop him in place of useless Rosenior, S*****z play Baird in front of Volz and now RH playing Stalteri on loan in front of Volz? Are we all so wrong? Should we trust in the expert managers? (and by making that comment I'd just like to say I believe RH to be the expert, Cookie to be ok and S*****z was clearly not an expert....)

He's been made more of a midfielder, and we have plenty of those! have to agree, he is a good player and is unlucky not to get the chances he deserves!

I feel sorry for Baird. It's never a player's fault that he's bought or sold and although he was clearly out of his depth, it's Sanchez who should take the blame for a disastrous signing. 1.5 mill sounds a bit much, to be honest. And I'll be sad to see Voltzy go - but delighted if we land Finnan!!

Baird looked a real good player whilst he was at Southampton. Obviously by your comments that form didn't continue at Fulham!

I'd hate to see Volzy leave. He's a great role model and ambassador for the club. In my opinion, Premiership players should be a lot more like him, very down to earth, very respectable, very likeable, unlike those money grabbing players at Chelsea or Man Utd, who are laregly uninterested in the fans or the community as a whole. I can't see why he's been told he can leave, he could at least be decent back up to whoever Roy brings in if not a contender for regular first team action. Bit of a long post....
