Zamora Interest Rekindled!

With several papers suggesting Roy Hodgson has targeted James Beattie as our new focal point of the attack, another name keeps popping up into the frame.

If reports that are doing the rounds are correct then Roy is keen to outbid Queens Park Rangers for the services of one Bobby Zamora.

Earlier this month we questioned Zamora`s sanity for wanting to drop down a division to join our neighbours over at Loftus Road.

Now, with Roy Hodgson, according to reports, keen to go to £3.5 million for the West Ham United striker, things could take on a whole new complexion!

Zamora, hit by injury last season, only made fourteen appearances but it appears Hodgson has fond memories of a player who has played for Spurs and Brighton.

Keep those eyes peeled, Zamora may yet become a Fulham player!

I'd have to agree, don't want him!

Not sure why people still look at Bobby, he was touted years back but never seems to have moved on. A dud deal I'd say!
The Fear
NO! NO! NO ! NO! A waste of time and money if we buy him!

With McBride gone we desperately need to improve our strike force, being linked with players like Beattie and Zamora are deeply disappointing. The way the rumour mill is linking us with dross at the moment I think I'd prefer an Eddie 'Clown' Johnson, Sir Healy front line next year!

I want to see Nevland get a chance. He seems to have a bit of everything; has some pace, strength, good finish, good in the air.

Oh yeah i forgot about Nevland one of Woys good buys

Pass. I wouldn't want to see £3.50 spent on him, let alone £3.5m

donfulham I like your new name for Johnson. Clown it is. That said, Beattie, Zamora, and the guy that plays keeper for my sunday league would all do at least as well as Clown. I do agree that 3.5m is too much though.
