'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Is Bobby Zamora Mad!

It`s a simple question isn`t it?

Now I don`t belong in the camp that reckon Bobby Zamora can do a decent job for us but it still galls me to read that the West Ham United forward is looking to sign for Queens Park Rangers.

And it`s not because I`ve got anything against Queens Park Rangers either, I just think it shows a right lack of ambition to drop out of the Premier League to play Championship football.

It can`t even be the money because it seems that West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers will split his salary whilst he spends next season on loan at Loftus Road.

Strange bloke!

Anyone seen the men in white coats?

yes! because when QPR get promoted they'll buy bigger and better than him!
Al Billy
a very good point - strange move, like I said, strange man!
Putney
perhaps he believes hoops suit him better than claret and blue!
Fulham Badger
QPR are a very ambitious club atm
oranje_emu
Well, I remember a young chap called Coleman that left the prem and moved two divisions down to an ambitious club many years ago.

very good point Mr Ploppy

Can't understand it myself. Whilst it is very likely that QPR will be in the Premiership soon, Zamora can do a very good job for a MIddlesbrough/Everton/Villa. He is a premiership quality striker, and should not be playing in the Championship, even if it will only be for a year.
LeonRivers
Not too sure about the Everton or Villa, but it should be interesting how well he does at QPR, odds on him being top scorer?
oranje_emu
QPR are a club on the up, must be favourites for auto promotion next season perhaps Zamora wants in the elevator at the ground floor?
donfulham
he's not exactly a first team regular at West Ham either!
oranje_emu
I think Villa are too good a club for him!
Putney
You cannot deny that QPR is a club with ambition whilst Fulham is being run by a man who is happy to stay exactly where he is. QPR want the upper echelons of Premier League football, and long-term I think that is why Zamora will join the R's.
Boxer
Personally, i don't think he should leave us (West Ham), but if he did I'd be surprised if he went to what is, in all honesty, a fizzy pop league club at best. Without the owners money they'd struggle to stay in the championship, the ground isn't big enough, the fan base is no longer there and I don't think there will be much to look forward to. He'd be better advised going to QPR!

At the end of the day money talks and I am sure the multi rich at Qpr are offering him silly money to sign.
