Healy Now a Leeds Target!

Despite having previously offered a commitment to Fulham Football Club after a barren season, David Healy could be about to move on.

The Evening Standard tonight carries an article implying that the Leeds manager, Gary McAlister, may be trying to tempt him back to the Yorkshire club.

Healy, despite a prolific season for Northern Ireland, only managed four goals in thirty league games for Fulham and Roy Hodgson may be prepared to do business with the Elland Road outfit!

Does Healy deserve another chance in the top flight?

how many times does he have to stay he's staying! If he's turned down championship teams why would he go down to league 1?!?!?!
oranje_emu
perhaps cos he's not in Roy's plans!
Putney
That may be the case but he surely rather drop down one league and not two!!

Healy can only score in a green shirt so would be no good at leeds..

Can't quite figure out Healy...sometimes he shows he's capable of playing in the Premiership but then sometimes (most of the time) he looks like a lost cause. Would it be worth Roy's time and effort to work on Healy, or should we just offload him to whoever wants him? IMO we should get rid and find some younger talent, Healy's coming up for 30, right?

I know, that goal againts Sunderland was outstanding i think with a little more pace he could be great but at the moment he is to hit and miss for me
Backslash2010
I cannot understand how Leeds would be interested in a player who only had to score five goals for Fulham to get us more cash as part of the deal. He couldn't even manage that!
