'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Will Kasey Keller Leave?

With the goalkeeping position having a plethora of candidates next season, you`d hazard a guess that Scharwzer and Stockdale would occupy pole position, therefore, Keller, along with Niemi, could find themselves surplus to requirements.

It`s a fact not lost on Keller who has already implied that if a decent offer comes along he would be prepared to leave Craven Cottage.

'I can carry on, but I think it is the same situation as last year where I'm not necessarily looking for something. If something comes around and it feels right, like staying at Fulham or going somewhere else, then that's what it is. But I won't necessarily stay in England.'

'It's tough because I have two children who have been to four different schools in three different countries and we'd like to get them settled. But I know I won't play a whole lot longer so if it means I move on then I'll do it.'

Perhaps the best indication of what lies ahead for Kasey though is shown in the line,

'Last year I had more offers then during my whole career.'

It looks like goodbye from Kasey then!

would be useful to keep him, very good back up to schwarzer if needed!
oranje_emu

Fulham Badger

Al Billy
nah! personal tutors at home I reckon!
Putney
be nice to keep him and sell Niemi then we'd have two proven premiership keepers and good young prospect. Remember the days when we had Van der Sar with Taylor as backup? Ahh the memories...
