Healy Wants to Stay!

David Healy may have had a mixed season in the white of Fulham, despite reaching new heights in the green of Ireland, but he is determined to stay at Craven Cottage.

Speaking to the media recently, Healy had this to say,

'Whether we stayed up or went down, I would have been committed to the club. They spent money to bring me here and gave me the opportunity to play in the Premier League. My family have moved down as well and the kids are in school, so we are settled. It is all a learning curve.'

"I want to help bring success to Fulham. Finishing in the top half of the table and having a good cup run has to be our ambition.'

That`s the sort of fighting talk we want to hear David.

If at first you don`t succeed try, and try again!

Must have a good contract, still doesn't score enough goals for a striker

I like him i think he would score goals if given a real chance think he was genuinely unlucky last year and there's a lot to be said for a player who wants to improve.

Not good enough for the Premiership. Fulham knew they was taking a huge gamble when signing him. There was a clause in his contract that said if he scored 5 League goals they would have to pay Leeds more money. He couldn't even manage that!!!!
