Roland Linz - On Our Agenda!

Fulham are among several Premier League clubs taking a good look at the young Austrian hitman Roland Linz.

The 26-year-old star, who plays for Sporting Braga, has scored seven goals in 32 appearances for Austria.

Premier League rivlas, West Ham and Middlesbrough have also been linked to Linz - who has managed double figures in Portugal for the last two seasons with his last two clubs.

Numerous clubs, five apparently, were casting a watchful eye to see Linz bag two goals in Austria's warm-up against Malta last week.

His goal scoring exploits may well be realising his ambition of a move to England.

A spokesman for agency FN Sports, told skysports.com:

'There has been interest in Roland from the Premiership and a number of clubs were watching him again at the Malta game.

'But he is focused on the Euros at the moment and we will see what happens after the tournament.'

Linz has a contract with Sporting Braga through to June 2010 and could cost over £5million if he impresses at Euro 2008.

Could be a deal to watch!

Backslash2010
In the UEFA Cup of 2007/2008 season, Linz scored a total of 5 goals before seeing his side eliminated against German giants SV Werder Bremen where he had been in the UEFA.COM Dream team on several actions scoring against the likes of Bayern Munich, Aris FC and Red Star Belgrade all vital games with enabled Braga to more points as they moved to the next round he also made dreeam team alongside players like Luca Toni and Andrei Arshavin. He's over 6-foot too! Maybe a McBride type player? wouldn't that be nice!
