Bouazza going?

According to reports this morning Bouazza is set to leave Fulham this summer.

The reports suggest a number of clubs are ready to tempt Fulham with an offer and Osasuna are believed to be leading the chase with Espanyol also thought to be keen.

The clubs will have to splash out around £3million for the pacey left winger if they wish to have his services.

At the start of the season I thought Bouazza was brilliant. He helped Konchesky out in defence and in a flash would be up the other end of the pitch putting the cross in. However after he got the shoulder injury he seems to have gone off the boil a bit.

I think Bouazza has the makings of a good player; he has pace, strength, can defend as well as attack and has a good cross. However I think he needs to put them all together and that's where he needs Roy's coaching.

I don't think we should get rid of him, what do you think?

I thought he was a great player and had a wicked shot "man city free kick wow" but he could never play a full game. But i'd rather see Lee Cook play for us on the left wing, where is he?
Backslash2010
I'd rather he stayed. He's a good player, left footed (which is rare in our team!), and he's very fast. In fact, for that reason, I think I'd prefer him to Cook, although I haven't seen much of the latter so cannot comment much. I wouldn't sell him for anything less than the 4m we paid for him. If he goes I'd like to see it as a loan deal.

I would love to see Lee Cook play this season! QPR fans have bigged him up so much that I want to see what all the fuss is about! I agree with Bobo that a loan deal would be better regarding Bouazza.

I agree with the comments in the article about Bouazza, in the first few games of the season he was one if not our only creative force down the wing. I was really impressed with his workrate, pace and confidence in going past players, I thought if he could work on his distribution and crossing he'd be a star.. however... he got injured and came back either still carrying that injury or for some other reason he had a terrible loss of form. I'd be happy for him to stay cause I think he has the raw talent

I remember saying on this site "we have a fantastic left side!!!" after seeing how well Konch and Bouazza were playing together.

Seems like we (Wigan) are interested as well

That shoulder injury has been around for a while and Bou does go through spells of in/out of form BUT he does have great pace and has a got a decent shot...just a bit raw I guess at the moment.

he is still very young the question is will we be willing to spend the time developing him and will he be willing to wait for regular first team football
howrad
I think its the same situation with Collins John! He needs some good coaching to get him to where he should be! If we're not willing to spend time coaching a young talent like these two then whats the point?!??!
oranje_emu
if he don't wanna stay feck him out of the Cottage! Simple!

what! wouldn't like to cross you - harsh words or what!
