Harewood Not Fulham Bound!

With Fulham, amongst others being linked with the capture of Marlon Harewood, from Aston Villa, it transpires such a move is unlikely to happen!

Harewood's agent, Phil Sproson, speaking to BBC West Midlands, had this to say,

'If Marlon ever became available then I'm sure he'd probably link up with one of them'

'He's going nowhere at the moment but, when the time is right, and it might be this time next year, then there's going to be four or five clubs who'd be in.'

Not sure we'll wait that long will we?

Yeah but if we stick Five million pound under their noses i think they might reconsider

Just like Barry who was going nowhere but it seems that O'Neil is listeing to offers

I hope this is true as I like Harewood and would rather have him playing week in week out instead of Carew.
Tallaght Villan
I thought Harewood got a lot of stick from the Villa fans when he arrived, why stay somewhere where he's not popular? But with Barry more or less gone I can't imagine Villa would be happy letting another of there first team squad go or the fans will do there nut!

MON isn't listening to any offers, suggest you dont believe everything you read in the papers. As for Harewood the bloke has become a cult in one season at Villa. Could do a great job for you blokes I reckon.

That's a shame! Any idea's of other strikers that could come in? Kitson or Doyle for example?
oranje_emu
a cult or is there a slight mis-spelling there?
Al Billy
let him stay at Villa and make an occasional appearance or two then!
Putney
You must be relieved to not be getting him. He's not a great goalscorer in the Premiership.
