For Davis & Cousin Read Boyd & Konchesky?

I know it`s the close season and I know that all sorts of rumours do the rounds but this one has me stumped!

According to one eye-catching web site, Fulham would like to engage in swap deal with Glasgow Rangers.

Now common sense would suggest that the obvious swap would involve Steven Davis and our long term target Daniel Cousin.

You`d be wrong!

This particular site is advocating that we`re going to involve Paul Konchesky and Kris Boyd in a swap deal that may also involve the odd bit of cash exchanging hands.

Can anyone add any credibility to this rumour?

Or is it just nonsense?

do it. and while we'd need two replacement outside backs, let's get finnan and...maybe the american left back/winger eddie lewis from derby? he was impressive against england...
curtoberg
He used to play for Fulham old Lewis! first of all we would find it very difficult to find a left back as good as Konch, He is a very good player! However, I wouldn't mind us getting boyd instead of Cousin in the Davis deal! What do you expect from that "eye-catching web site" putney! lol
oranje_emu
forgot to mention the site was tribalfootball :-)
Putney
curtoberg - glad to see you finally made it to Vital fulham :-)
Putney
And don't sell Konch - he's allright!

Boyd puzzles me! So many goals for Rangers but so few starts!
Al Billy
would never of guessed Putney! :-P

tribal tosh it should be called!

Konch is alright but nothing special, but I'd love to see Finnan and Lewis back at the Cottage - I think Eddie was given too few chances under Tigana and it'd be great to have him around.
KingLegwinski
No don't get cousin he is a lazy unfaithfull****, not the sort of player i want in a fulham shirt
Backslash2010
Now now KingLeggy!! Konch is better than alright!
oranje_emu
Konch is a great player, we need to keep him. We've struggled at left back apart from when we got Bridge in, Konch should stay. I don't want Cousin either. Why don't we just get Rangers to give us cold hard cash for Davis?
donfulham
What I mean is we can and should do better than Konch. Just like I'd love to see Stalteri as cover for Finnan, Konch could serve as cover for a sharper left-back.
KingLegwinski
so Konch as cover for Bridge would be just about perfect but then a player like Konch wouldn't stay long playing second fiddle anyway. Boyd looks better than cousin but i'd still rather take the cash from rangers
howrad
I think your under valueing Konch KingLeggy! I don't think we could get a better Left Back.
oranje_emu
would Bridge come to us though? that's the big question!
Putney
He enjoyed himself when he came on loan. He wants to leave Chelski, and he was willing to stay after his loan was over but we didn't come up with the transfer money if i remember correctly
