Fulham still after Scharner!

Our northern friends at Vital Wigan have reported that Roy is preparing another bid for their fans player of the season Paul Scharner

The story continues to explain that Scharner is entering the last year of his contract and although it appears that the club are negotiating an extension if an agreement cant be met then there is every possibility that he would be allowed to leave now for a fee rather than on a free next summer.

I believe this would be a fantastic signing. He has had a solid season at Wigan since he moved back into the backline and could prove to be a good pairing with Hangeland.

Now that would be a good move, if he was free then there's no reason not to

he wont be free, he will be free next summer, wigan might want to cash in if he doesn't sign an extension

He'd be a great signing for us. Although i'd like to see some new defenders and a striker or two before we bolster the midfield.
KingLegwinski
Scharner has been playing in defence for Wigan.

So what we looking at 2 million, i'm finding it more and more difficult to value players.

I agree, he'd be a good signing!
Putney

I think £3-4million seems to be about right? £2-3million for Boateng?
oranje_emu
We should raid Man city and Spurs beacuse they are looking to offload most of their teams Maby a bid for Lennon?
Backslash2010
How about Darrent Bent, Chimbonda, Onuoha

Benjani could be a good replacement for McBride? He works hard for the team!
