UEFA Cup - Strange Competition!

UEFA Cup - Strange Competition!

After missing out to Manchester City when it came to qualifying for the UEFA Cup through the `Fair Play` league, we now get salt rubbed in our wounds.

Not only do we have to suffer the heartache of missing out even though City received a red card on the last day of the season, we find that due to some daft UEFA co-efficient, City are considered good enough to be seeded thereby enabling them an easy passage through the early stages, this despite City only playing once in Europe in twenty five years.

What a strange competition, makes you almost glad we`re not in it!

I wouldn't go that far Putney i don't think i'm glad not to be in it, however saying that maybe it would have been a year too soon give Roy some time to build a squad and who knows maybe we can be even nicer next year and get in :)
